In response to the spread of the new coronavirus infection, Gifu Prefecture has decided to request the government to apply "priority measures such as prevention of spread", according to interviews with related parties.

In addition, in nine cities with many infected people, we will request restaurants to shorten their business hours.

In Gifu prefecture, the number of infected people per day has exceeded 50 since the middle of this month, and the spread of the new coronavirus has continued, and the number of confirmed infections of the mutant virus is increasing.



In response to this, Gifu Prefecture has decided to request the government to apply priority measures such as prevention of spread, according to interviews with related parties.

We will hold a meeting of the prefectural response headquarters on the afternoon of the 23rd to formally decide the request to the government.



In addition, the prefecture will issue a state of emergency and request restaurants in nine cities with many infected people to shorten their business hours.



The targets of the request are Gifu City, Ogaki City, Kakamigahara City, Mizuho City, Seki City, Minokamo City, Tajimi City, Kani City, and Toki City.



The period is from around 28th of this month to 11th of next month, and if requested, we will pay a cooperation fee of 25,000 yen or more per day depending on the size of the store.
