The woman suffered a serious injury that broke her lower back, and the driver said, "I made a mistake in stepping on the brake and accelerator."

Around 11:30 am on the 23rd, a passenger car ran on the sidewalk and hit a woman on the premises of a sports club in Tsurumi-ku, Yokohama, and then collided with a pillar of the building and stopped.



The person who was hit was a 58-year-old woman who used a facility walking nearby and suffered serious injuries such as a broken hip.



According to police, the car was driven by an elderly 76-year-old driver who attended a sports club and was arrested on the spot on suspicion of negligent driving injuries.



The police are investigating the detailed situation by saying to the investigation, "I intended to step on the brake to pay the parking fee, but I stepped on the accelerator."
