A fire in a factory building in Shanghai caused 8 deaths. Emergency Management Department: Upgraded investigation into the accident

  At 13:30 on April 22, a fire broke out in Shanghai Jinshan Shengrui Electronic Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., causing 4 employees to be trapped.

Due to the complex internal structure of the fire site, dense production equipment, and high temperature and dense smoke, 2 fire rescue personnel and 2 enterprise technical personnel lost contact when entering the interior to search and rescue the trapped persons.

After receiving the report, the Emergency Management Department sent a working group led by experts in related fields to arrive at the scene that night to guide the rescue operation.

At 6:20 on the 23rd, the open flame was extinguished at the scene, 2 firefighters died and 6 related personnel from the company were killed.

  The Ministry of Emergency Management has asked the local authorities to raise the level of investigation into the accident, carefully investigate the cause of the accident, learn lessons, draw inferences from one another, and take strict precautions against all kinds of safety accidents.

  After the fire broke out, the Shanghai Fire Rescue Corps dispatched 56 fire rescue stations, 123 fire trucks, 8 fire fighting robots, and 976 firefighters quickly arrived on the scene to carry out the rescue.
