The toll of the Covid-19 epidemic stands at 101,881 dead in France, according to the latest figures released by the government on Wednesday evening.

Hospital pressure seems to be falling slightly, with a decline in the number of hospitalized patients and in intensive care. 

France recorded 313 additional deaths linked to Covid-19 in 24 hours, according to the latest figures released by the government on Wednesday evening.

The toll of the epidemic now stands at 101,881 dead, while 5,374,288 cases are confirmed - 34,968 have been detected since Tuesday.

Hospital pressure down slightly

On the side of hospital pressure, the figures register a slight decrease: 30,954 patients suffering from the virus are hospitalized, or 132 less in 24 hours, and 5,959 people are in intensive care, or 25 less than Tuesday.
