“Over the past day, on April 20, 111 forest fires have been liquidated in Russia on an area of 3543 hectares,” RIA Novosti quotes the agency's message.
The maximum area of fires was recorded in the Amur Region, where there were six forest fires on an area of 1300 hectares.
Earlier, the scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center, Roman Vilfand, named the regions with a high risk of wildfires.
