[Commentary] Lan Bozhou, the curator of the exhibition and chairman of the Taiwan Gu Jinliang Cultural Foundation, has been committed to the investigation, research and writing of the history of Taiwan people for a long time.

There is a real promotion of cross-strait integration, and then through their understanding of Taiwan, to influence the younger generation who do not know Taiwan, to inspire them, to re-understand Taiwan, and then to understand the whole of China, how Taiwan is, Taiwan’s History Taiwan is a part of China, and the fate of Taiwan is combined with the fate of the whole of China.

[Explanation] After viewing the exhibition, Wang Tianshan, a Taiwanese compatriot born in the 80s who started his business in Wuhan, said that today's life is hard to come by. He must inherit the legacy of his ancestors, work hard together, and be a promising young man in the new era.

At that time, these student movement groups resisted the invasion of foreign enemies, their indomitable spirit, the spirit of patriotism for the country, and the spirit of sacrificing the individual to the greater self, which made me very excited. I think this spirit of throwing the head and sprinkling blood is very exciting. A behavior that young people should have now.

[Explanation] Zhang Junjie, a doctor of history of the "post-90s" in mainland China, pointed out that the exhibition has enriched his knowledge of Taiwan's history. He hopes to cooperate with Lan Bozhou to dig deeper into more historical materials and allow the exhibition to enter more places on both sides of the strait.

Not only should exhibitions be held on both sides of the Taiwan Strait, it should also be promoted to the whole world, so that overseas Chinese will understand that Taiwan compatriots, especially Taiwan compatriots during the Japanese occupation, have such an epic historical event.

[Commentary] Xing Junzhi, deputy director of the Taiwan Affairs Office of Hubei Province, said that the purpose of this exhibition is to allow more young people on both sides of the strait and all sectors of society to truly understand the history of Taiwan’s war of resistance and the suffering experienced by Taiwan compatriots in the humiliating history of the Chinese nation in the past century. In this way, the feelings of compatriots on both sides of the strait are continuously enhanced and spiritual harmony is promoted.

[Commentary] It is reported that this exhibition is hosted by the Hubei Provincial Association for the Promotion of Cross-Strait Exchanges, and undertaken by the Wuhan Association for Cross-Strait Exchanges, and will last until May 10.
