On April 20th, the "Love in Dunhuang" calligraphy and painting exhibition sponsored by the Dunhuang Academy is on display in Dunhuang. Among them, the Dunhuang Mural at Mogao Grottoes, Cave 156 of the Late Tang Dynasty, copied in 1951 by Mr. Duan Wenjie, the former director of the Dunhuang Academy "Madame Traveling Picture" is amazing, vividly restoring the scene at the time, and also making up for the regret that the original mural was severely destroyed.

The acrobats who perform thrilling moves brilliantly, the maiko who dances gracefully with their sleeves...every character's "expression management" is in place.

The travel map was painted in the late Tang Dynasty and came from Cave 156 of Mogao Grottoes. It was a Gongde Cave built to commemorate Zhang Yichao's defeat of Tubo to recover Hexi.

The scroll is horizontal and wide, with a vertical height of 180 cm and a horizontal width of 855 cm. It carefully depicts the grand and luxurious scene of the Song family when traveling and playing.

The whole picture scroll is with landscape and trees as the background, and is divided into the distant view and the near view along with the queue. It is painted in light blue and ink and can be divided into three parts.

In the front of the picture, there are a variety of juggling and band accompaniment; in the middle, there are guards opening the way, and the honour is mighty; behind there are a large number of attendants holding gold and silver, transporting food, wine and meat.
