“The Russian screenwriter, writer, publicist, member of the Union of Cinematographers of Russia, Alexander Isidorovich Annensky, has passed away,” the message on the union's website says.
The cause of death was not specified.
Alexander Annensky, the son of director and screenwriter Isidor Annensky, graduated from the screenwriting department of VGIK.
He was the general director and editor-in-chief of his own publishing association "Globus".
