Christian Drosten, respected and highly decorated advisor to the government, took the time in a broadcast format of the public service broadcaster, kindly accompanied by a science journalist, to describe in detail his view of the question of what is going wrong in the public debate.

He did not skimp on blaming "pseudo-experts" and "science deniers", with accusations against the media and "certain groups".

Among those who insulted Drosten as a "denier" are Harvard professors and well-known German virologists.

Drosten never got the idea that a problem could also lie in the way he deals with criticism or his own mistakes.
