The Minister of Education, Jean-Michel Blanquer, contact case of a member of his team positive for the coronavirus, will isolate himself, after having himself tested negative, a press release from the ministry announced on Tuesday.

Jean-Michel Blanquer learned Tuesday "that one of the members of his close team has been diagnosed positive for the coronavirus", underlines the ministry.

"He himself tested negative yesterday (Monday) evening and he has no symptoms," the statement continued.

“However, in application of health rules, it is his duty to isolate himself as a contact case”.

The Minister of Education "will keep all its commitments by videoconference, pending the results of a new test, as provided for in the protocol", it is specified.
