The process around the Grammy nominations looks different this year - the nominees in the 21 categories are presented for three days.
Today, seven of them are published, including pop of the year, music video of the year and lyricist of the year.
Controversial Yasin
In the latter category, the controversial hip-hop artist Yasin is nominated for the albums "98.01.11" and "More to life", and it remains to be seen if he will be nominated for more awards when the other categories are presented.
Yasin is currently charged with stamping as a felony and has been in custody since the New Year weekend.
Already when Yasin was arrested, there was an intense debate about whether his music should be played on radio, on Spotify - and whether it was right for P3 to nominate him for the P3 Gold Gala, where he was awarded two prizes in his absence.
Hellström and Diaz
Among the other nominees is Håkan Hellström, who is also nominated in the lyricist category for the album "Rampljus".
There, Ana Diaz also competes with "Comfort and Water", and she is also nominated in the heavy category Pop of the Year for the same album.
