the first time in the history of a documentary film, 4.8 million viewers visited and loved so much. Do not cross the river, remember?

Director Jin Mo-young of this movie is back with a movie featuring old couples from six countries around the world.

Nightline's first seat is with director Jin Mo-young.

Q. A movie you directed after a long time...

What are your impressions?

[Moyoung Jin/Director of film: I will meet audiences all over the world in about a few hours from now.

It was a little special work, so I was also very nervous and excited.

Q. The second movie in the'Nim' series...

What kind of work is it?

[Moyoung Jin/Director: This work is based on Nim-A, which I released in 2014, Do not cross the river, and it is with love from around the world, such as the couple Cho Byeong-man and Gang Gye-yeol, who were in Nim-A’s original work in Netflix and six countries. The first plan is to find couples who have lived together for a long time and make a series of extended versions of Nim-A.]

Q. Filming in 6 countries…

What role did you play?

[Moyoung Jin/Director: My role is an executive producer, and I am the general producer, and it plays a role in keeping the story structure and certain atmospheres of the entire original work unified.

So, we select a director and look for characters together, so there are all local directors in the region.

So, while discussing the things that made it like that, I made six works, such as Nim, Don't Cross the River, in a unified way.]

Q. The lives of old couples in six countries…

What do you have in common?

[Moyoung Jin/Director of film: To soften the humor and tenderness or strong masculinity, and to create an atmosphere where each other can talk much more.

I think those things have been common to couples who have lived good for a long time.

Q. What message do you want to convey to audiences around the world?

[Moyoung Jin/Director of film: When planning this project, the keyword I thought of from the beginning was the keyword of the textbook of love.

So Nim-A's Kang Gye-seon-Jo Byung-man appears as the biggest model, and in many parts of our humanity, people live in couples.

Of course, there are a lot of people who don't, but many couples live, and they use the expression that the life when looking for and living with that mate is gentle and tender and happy when living with love.

I hope these works will serve as textbooks of love because I think I can teach people around the world some things to live happily as a couple in a better relationship.]

Q. About 100 shoots…

What are your memorable episodes?

[Moyoung Jin/Director of film: Actually, I think we were very hard and we didn't do that.

The process of working was very enjoyable and happy.

For our work, the Korean version was filmed with a couple doing abalone farming in Bogildo in Wando, Jeollanam-do, but I think the most impressive thing was the day I was doing kimchi.

The day after Kimchi-jang was a period when the whole family gathered together and even the comrades were leaking together, and our audio director told us that story.

Director This sounds very loud and confusing, but this is the first time I have ever heard such a pleasantly lively sound.

That's a really good sound, like this.

They said that.

That's why this sound is really happy.

So I like the scenes that I used to make kimchi so I went to the next time I made kimchi.]

Q. What does'documentary' mean to you?

[Moyoung Jin/Director: Documentary is a life for me.

I think that the process of filming and making a documentary is just the same time in my life.

So, I think it's a documentary that keeps affecting me while watching those real-life performers quietly and quietly living with them, learning what's in them, discovering the shining parts, and so on.]

Q. As a film director. If you have any hope?

[Jin Moyoung/Director: I would like to continue talking about a person who finds the jewel-like story in the people around us, even in the documentary.]
