The Paroles Citoyennes festival highlights contemporary heroes, whether they have exceptional destinies like

Simone Veil

or

Edward Snowden

, or whether they are mixed up in the mass of anonymous, like the insurgents of

the Commune

.

Because for Jean-Marc Dumontet, initiator of the festival, we need heroes more than ever in this period of withdrawal, as well as culture.

This is why, rather than canceling his event, he prefers recourse to the virtual: "

It allows us to reach a lot of people, it allows us to do our job, especially at this time when our theaters are closed

 ", explains he does.

He adds: “

It's streaming, but in a theater.

So already, just being in the theater was like a breath of fresh air.

We have this feeling in any case of live, it's once and only once.

It's still not the same as having the audience in the room and hearing them and feeling them, but there is a jitters, there is still the idea, we are getting ready for a show, for a night.

 "

Julie Gayet, with Judith Henry, takes up the text of Annick Cojean "I would not have arrived there if ...", where women like Christiane Taubira, Amélie Nothomb, Asli Erdogan recount a milestone event that made a turning point in their life.

It is one of the eight shows of the festival (9 euros per screening) given

live on Facebook

.
