Netflix has just bought the rights to a documentary series dedicated to Kanye West.

According to Billboard, the streaming platform would have put $ 30 million on the table for this program which must return to the career and the personal life of the artist by promising new and often intimate images.

This documentary will therefore have the ambition to explore the rise of the rapper, his successes in music and business, but also the dramas of his life, such as the death of his mother or his stinging defeat in the 2020 presidential election. .

Coodie & Chike at the helm

For the moment untitled, this documentary will be produced by the duo Coodie & Chike composed of Clarence “Coodie” Simmons and Chike Ozah, better known in the production of music videos.

They are notably behind the videos of the titles of Kanye West

They are also at the origin of a documentary dedicated to the basketball player Stephon Marbury entitled
