In the video for his current hit "Montero (Call Me By Your Name)" you first see him sitting under a tree in a kind of Garden of Eden when a snake that looks a lot like him sneaks up on him, smooches and seduces him Which is why he is put before a tribunal and stoned, then goes up to heaven, where he is rejected, whereupon he glides smoothly down a pole dance pole in his underwear, gives the devil a lap dance and then breaks his neck .
Then he takes the horns off him, sits up and smiles at the camera - wonderful!
In conservative America, however, the good news of this three-minute expulsion of the devil was not so well received.
