We are expanding vaccination

", rejoices the Minister of Health in

Le Journal du Dimanche

.

Olivier Véran assures us that this vaccination will be possible thanks to two vaccines, that of AstraZeneca that "

from tomorrow, all French people over 55, without conditions, will be able to receive

", and that of Johnson & Johnson, delivered in France to as of tomorrow, proposed, "

for consistency and concern for efficiency, to all over 55s, without conditions

 ".

In

Le JDD

, the minister also announces “

the spacing of the two doses of messenger RNA vaccine from Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna

(…)

As of April 14, for all the first injections, we will propose a booster at 42 days instead. currently 28

”, declares Olivier Véran in the

Journal du Dimanche

Macron-Le Pen duel, the return

A little over a year from the presidential election, the second round of 2022 promises to be identical to that of 2017 in France.

This is an Ifop poll for

Le Journal du Dimanche

and Sud Radio, in which no less than ten first-round scenarios were tested, with more or less probable combinations of candidates.

In the ten cases of figure, the “

two finalists

” of 2017 would find themselves for a revenge in the second round next year, Marine Le Pen veering in the lead in six cases out of ten, points Le JDD.

But this weekly also reports that in the second round, Emmanuel Macron would win with 54% of the vote, against 46% in Marine Le Pen.

This is "

one more point

" than last month for the president.

Note that the newsstand edition of

Journal du Dimanche

does not publish other second-round scenarios tested by Ifop, and which indicate that Emmanuel Macron, Xavier Bertrand and Valérie Pécresse would win against Marine Le Pen in the second round of the 2022 presidential election, but Jean-Luc Mélenchon and Yannick Jadot would be beaten and Anne Hidalgo would be on an equal footing.

The regional ones are coming

They are still scheduled for June 13 and 20.

And this poll in Ile-de-France, which places Valérie Pécresse in pole position.

According to an Ipsos survey for

Le Parisien Dimanche

and France Info, the president (ex-LR) of Ile-de-France is leading the way in the first and second rounds for the next regional elections.

In the first round Valérie Pécresse is credited with 34% of the votes, double the score of her closest opponent, RN candidate Jordan Bardella (17%).

Four candidates then arrive in a pocket square: Audrey Pulvar (PS) with 12%, followed by Clémentine Autain (LFI / PCF), Julien Bayou (EELV-Génération.s) and Laurent Saint-Martin (LREM) tied for 11%, indicates

Le Parisien Dimanche

.

In any case, in the second round, Valérie Pécresse would keep her chair.

This poll also indicates that, "

overwhelmingly

", the main concern of right-wing voters in Ile-de-France is "

the rise of delinquency

 " as well as a "

need for order and authority

 ", remarks

Le Parisien Dimanche

, that of Ile-de-France residents focusing more on “

social inequalities and employment

 ”.

As for the National Gathering, in view of this survey, there is "

no hope of winning the region

 ", assures this newspaper.

Postponement, not postponement?

Being reminded that the 35,000 mayors of France must, this weekend, answer "

yes or no

" if they consider that the conditions recommended by the scientific committee seem met to hold the regional and departmental elections of June 13 and 20 next, in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic,

Le Parisien Dimanche wonders

"

why put a coin in the machine of unpredictability when at the beginning of the week the maintenance of the elections seemed to hold the rope?

 ".

The unpredictability tires the French

This is the analysis of

Marianne

, weekly according to which the French "

are ready to welcome something or someone reassuring to renew the political landscape.

There is in them, it is indisputable, the obscure and impatient desire to turn the page

 ”, estimates this magazine.

In the polls, Emmanuel Macron does more than resistance?

Precisely,

underlines

Marianne

, make no mistake, “

when you are at the head of a country in the midst of depression, you can very well suffer the disenchantment of citizens while keeping good polls.

However, after four years, Emmanuel Macron's record is anything but amazing, far from the hopes he had aroused during his electoral raid in 2017,

judges this magazine

.

His name is now associated with rather painful adventures, from the SNCF strikes to the current pandemic, through the

"yellow vests"

and the unfinished episode of the pension reform.

What if this dashing young man, who seemed blessed by the gods when he burst onto the political scene, was definitely bad luck, wonders Marianne?

No more than the great, the people do not like the unlucky

 ”.

But do the grown-ups love the people?

That is the question…
