At about 18:10 on the 10th, the Fengyuan coal mine in Queergou Town, Hutubi County, Hutubi County, Xinjiang Changji Hui Autonomous Prefecture, suffered a water flooding accident during the process of technological transformation, causing underground power outages and communication interruptions.
According to preliminary information, 29 people were on duty at the time of the accident. Up to now, 8 people have been safely raised, and 21 people have been trapped.
At present, the autonomous region has organized emergency, coal supervision, geology, electric power, health and other related departments and professional rescue teams and equipment to fully carry out rescue work, and various rescue work is being carried out in an intense and orderly manner.
