The Association of Regions of France asked the government on Friday to create "a dedicated emergency fund" after the frost episode which damaged "entire areas of our agriculture".

The Regions “ask the government to set up this mechanism in the name of national solidarity”.
"The risk today is to see many farms disappear," they stress.
"We must at all costs put in place a system commensurate with the subject and the losses encountered by our farmers."
The creation of a special compensation fund has already been called for by the LR president of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes regional council, Laurent Wauquiez.
