On April 9th, in the Guanyin Gorge section of the Jialing River in Beibei District, Chongqing, the blue waves of Jialing and the green mountains crossed each other. The Jialing River, which is less than 1,000 meters apart, spanned five bridges from north to south, forming the magnificent landscape of the five bridges.

From near to far in the picture are the New Chaoyang Bridge, the Old Chaoyang Bridge, the Sui-Yu Railway Bridge, the Xiang-Yu Railway Bridge, and the Lan-Yu Railway Bridge. These bridges vividly show the changes in the "bridge capital" Chongqing.

The old Chaoyang Bridge was built in 1969 and enjoys the reputation of "Asia's No. 1 Suspension Bridge". It was shut down on December 13, 2007.

The Lanyu Railway Bridge, which opened to traffic in 2015, is the newest of the five bridges, and it is also the node of the China-Europe Express (Chongqing-Xin-Europe) International Passage to and from Chongqing.
