A rather curious discussion was initiated by the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksiy Danilov.

In an interview with the local newspaper Left Bank, a high-ranking Kiev official said: “I was sure from the very beginning, and few people shared that, that Vladimir Aleksandrovich (Zelensky -

RT

) would be one of the most pro-Ukrainian presidents.

And we will see this with you ”.

At the same time, Oleksiy Danilov did not give any criteria for how exactly the degree of “pro-Ukrainianness” of certain presidents of Ukraine should be calculated (and there are already six of them in the history of this independent state, including the current Zelensky).

But we will not leave this venerable Kiev courtier in trouble, or, to be more precise, in the position of a politician who said "a", but prudently did not want to say "b" after that?

“I won't tell you for all of Odessa,” but I’m ready to say for myself personally.

Of course, we must help the venerable Alexei Myacheslavovich!

Let's develop his thought and bring it to the only possible logical ending.

Of course, Danilov's idea to test all the presidents of Ukraine for their "pro-Ukrainian" looks absurd.

And not only gives.

This is absurdity in its maximum possible, one might even say, concentrated form.

But nothing can be done.

Since I have undertaken to help the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, I will have to do this, taking into account the norms and rules adopted in this very Council.

If at the top of Kiev they consider absurdity to be the norm of life, then let's start from this and make a start.

So, how exactly can you measure the degree of Zelensky's "pro-Ukrainian"?

I started to fantasize about various sci-fi gadgets, but I quickly realized that there was no real need for it.

It is enough to assess Zelensky's real steps in terms of their compliance with the national interests of the Ukrainian state and the aspirations of the citizens of Ukraine.

Of course, I can be asked a question: how can I know something about the aspirations of the citizens of Ukraine?

I answer: of course, no one has canceled the national specifics.

But, by and large, the aspirations of citizens are the same in all countries of the world.

And Ukraine in this regard is not an exception at all.

Peace of mind.

The feeling of having a life perspective.

Lack of concern for the fate of children.

Feeling of fullness in the stomach - what else have I forgotten?

And I forgot the most important thing.

"If only there was no war" - I remember this phrase as long as I remember myself.

Each of us has heard it dozens or even hundreds of thousands of times in our lives.

But this did not turn it into a worn-out banality.

If there is no war, then everything else becomes possible.

If there is a war, then the realization of all other aspirations must be postponed until later.

Of course, this rule is not universal.

Let me give you one more phrase that each of us knows from childhood: "To whom is war, and to whom is a mother."

Tragically, President Zelenskiy behaves exactly like a politician from this second category.

"The most pro-Ukrainian president of Ukraine" has brought his country close to the brink, crossing which will turn Donbass into an arena of new large-scale bloody military clashes.

Until quite recently, such a development of events seemed to me completely unthinkable.

Yes, I have been completely disillusioned with Vladimir Zelensky for a long time.

Yes, I realized long ago that all his solemn vows and promises have about the same relation to reality as the "absolutely truthful stories" of Baron Munchausen.

Zelenskiy has shown himself to be a completely useless president who is incapable of improving the situation.

But what I did not expect from him was deliberate steps aimed at a radical worsening of the situation.

Can someone tell me: what are the objective prerequisites for the current sharp exacerbation of the situation in Donbass?

Apart from the actions of the official Kiev, there are simply no such prerequisites.

But what caused these actions?

What goal does Zelenskiy want to achieve with their help that meets the national interests of Ukraine?

Silence, silence and silence again.

Donbass teeters on the brink of war only because "the most pro-Ukrainian president of Ukraine" wanted it.

However, I am not Alexei Danilov and I will not call Zelensky that anymore, even if using quotation marks.

Instead, I will call a spade a spade.

A politician who, for some unknown reason, wants to plunge his country into the flames of a fratricidal civil war again is an enemy of his country.

Neither Zelenskiy is "the most pro-Ukrainian president of Ukraine."

Zelensky is a worthy contender for the title of the most anti-Ukrainian president of Ukraine.

Why only a contender for the title, and not the owner of this title?

I'm sure you know the answer: because the competition is great.

I will not get too far into the modern history of Ukraine.

I will confine myself to a reminder of Zelensky's immediate predecessor as President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko.

Poroshenko is also, if I may say so, a strong contender.

I just can't understand why Zelensky is so blindly copying this "strong challenger."

Who got better as a result of the previous round of large-scale hostilities in Donbass provoked by Poroshenko?

Definitely not to the Ukrainian people.

This is what Alexey Danilov should have told his president about.

But at the top of Kiev, gross flattery and saber rattling are now in vogue.
