The Dehong Border Management Detachment of Yunnan Province reported on April 7 that the Mukang Border Checkpoint of the Dehong Group successfully cracked a drug transport case recently, seized 10.86 kilograms of methamphetamine, arrested 2 criminal suspects, and detained 1 vehicle involved in the case.
At about 22:00 on March 26, the police on duty at the Mukang border checkpoint conducted a public investigation in the Mangshi service area of Hangrui Expressway. When conducting border inspections on a large truck coming from Ruili, the driver of the vehicle, Zhao Mou and Zhang looked panicked, claiming to hurry on their way, urging not to delay time.
These abnormal actions attracted the attention of the police.
When the police conducted a key inspection of the car body, they seized 10.86 kilograms of methamphetamine bundled under a thick layer of dust in the middle of the car body joint. The drivers Zhao and Zhang were taken away by the police on the spot.
