At around 6 o'clock on April 7, the Xiaoxi River in Yanglinqiao Town, Zigui County, Hubei Province, the river was soaring due to continuous rainfall. The driver Yang took the risk of driving a vehicle across the river. Due to the turbulent waters, he directly drove Yang’s vehicle with a person and a car. Washed down the dam, causing the driver Yang and the vehicle to be trapped in the middle of the river.
After receiving the alarm, the Zigui County Public Security Bureau's Yanglinqiao Police Station immediately organized the civilian auxiliary police to carry rescue equipment to the scene. By mobilizing a construction excavator in the nearby scenic spot to cooperate with the rescue, the trapped driver was finally rescued ashore.
At present, the driver is in good physical condition.
