  • He's been collecting selfies with personalities since he was a teenager.

It is for his friendship with the collector Pierre-Jean Chalençon that Vincent Schoepff has found himself under the eye of social networks for a few days.

  • The magician, who met the collector a little over a year ago, explains that he stayed only about twenty minutes at the Palais Vivienne on the evening of April 1.

He posed alongside Nicolas Canteloup, Black M, Larusso, and even François Hollande and Nicolas Sarkozy.

It is for his friendship with the collector Pierre-Jean Chalençon that Vincent Schoepff has found himself under the eye of social networks for a few days.

Internet users have analyzed photos and videos of the young magician and star hunter - including a photo of Eric Dupond-Moretti taken out of context - and found pictures published this year showing him with the famous Parisian collector.

Pierre-Jean Chalençon found himself at the heart of a controversy over the alleged organization of clandestine dinners in his residence in central Paris, the Palais Vivienne, after the broadcast of an M6 report this weekend.

"I do not have access to all the rooms"

Barely 21 years old, Vincent Schoepff tells

20 Minutes that

he spent about twenty minutes at the Palais Vivienne on the evening of April 1.

He did not see "high personalities" there, he says.

The artist explains that he met a dozen people at the foot of the building, without knowing if they came out of the Vivienne Palace.

Inside the residence, in addition to Pierre-Jean Chalançon, was a collaborator of the collector, remembers the magician.

What about other guests?

“There were five of us.

I do not have access to all the rooms, ”defends the magician.

If he has visited the Palais Vivienne on several occasions, it is to work on a program with the collector and to extend his network.

"My goal is to make me meet other people", develops the Parisian, who describes himself as "star magician and television host".

"We became friends"

His meeting with Pierre-Jean Chalençon dates back to a little over a year, in March 2020. Passionate about the Napoleonic period, Vincent Schoepff then signed up for a visit to the Vivienne Palace, where Pierre-Jean Chalençon accumulated numerous objects related to the emperor.

“At the end, I approach him, I give him my card, I do a trick [of magic], he recalls.

He called me back.

We became friends.

"

The Parisian, who has seen his professional activity decrease with the health crisis, now aspires to tranquility.

He deleted posts on social networks and reported "threats" he would have received since the start of the controversy over illegal dinners.

He does not wish, for the moment, to file a complaint.
