During the Qingming Festival, the "Hometown of Ancient Chinese Theatres" in Leping, Jiangxi, ushered in a grand "Gan Opera Cultural Festival", allowing visitors to fully enjoy the unique charm of Gan Opera during this short holiday.
Located in Hongyan Town, Leping City, Jiangxi’s first large-scale ancient stage on the water, the culture of Gan opera and the exquisite stage carving techniques perfectly complement each other, allowing traditional opera to blend with the landscape.
It is understood that the Leping Hongyan Water Ancient Stage was completed and put into use at the end of March. During the Qingming Festival, it received more than 10,000 tourists a day.
