Fukuoka Prefecture announced on the 6th that it was confirmed that 51 new people were infected with the new coronavirus in the prefecture.
It is the first time since February 26th that the number of infected people in the prefecture exceeds 50 per day.
The breakdown is 30 in Fukuoka City and 7 in Kitakyushu City.
A total of 19,211 people have been confirmed to be infected in Fukuoka Prefecture.
In addition, it was found that 30 new people in the prefecture were suspected of being infected with the mutated coronavirus.
In the future, the National Institute of Infectious Diseases will carry out detailed tests to confirm whether it is a mutant virus.
