Despite suffering from a rare disease, it "invades" the fashion world

A British teen who suffers from deafness and baldness has fulfilled her childhood dream, after she recently signed a contract with a modeling agency.

Since birth, Hannah Harbin has suffered from "Hey Wells" or "apparent ED," a rare condition that affects only 30 people worldwide, and leads to abnormal growths of skin, hair, nails, teeth and eyes.

The British newspaper "Daily Mail" quoted Hannah as saying: "I have been bullied my whole life, and many used to think that I had cancer because of my baldness. I thought about suicide many times."

And about her acceptance to work in the modeling field, Hannah said: "I feel hopeful and strong, as I will represent people with disabilities in this field, and I hope to shatter the stereotype in the minds of many people with disabilities, as I believe that everyone has equal rights."

Hannah considered that her new job was her dream since childhood, adding that many told her that it was impossible to achieve this.

And she continued, "Through my work, I will fight the forms of discrimination faced by people with disabilities through my cooperation with Zebedee Management Agency, which specializes in shows that redefine the concept of beauty and disability."

And she indicated that wearing wigs gives her confidence in herself more, pointing to her assistance to women suffering from baldness through donations of wigs to those who are unable to buy them.

Hannah sent a message to the bullies saying: "Hate makes our hearts hard. If you see someone bullying others, advise him, instead of just feeling it hate. Spread love and love yourself."
