A large-scale operation symbolizing the will of the local authorities to get the vaccination campaign off the ground.
While the third wave of coronavirus is sweeping through the Rhône, around 10,000 people will have been vaccinated this Monday evening at the Groupama Stadium in Décines, towards Lyon, made available by the president of OL Jean-Michel Aulas.
That is more than the initial objective, set at 9,000 vaccinations during this Easter weekend.
“The vaccination during the 3 days of the Easter weekend is a real success.
Tonight 10,000 people will have been vaccinated by the firefighters at the OL park during this weekend ”, welcomed this April 5 on his Twitter account the boss of the Rhône firefighters, the Controller General Serge Delaigue.
Since Saturday morning, 300 firefighters, nurses and doctors but also 70 employees of OL and its partner companies have mobilized to organize this large-scale vaccination, made possible in particular thanks to the delivery of stocks of Moderna vaccines.

To receive an injection, those eligible for vaccination had to register first.
They will receive the second dose at Groupama Stadium still on May 2, 3 and 4.
For those who could not get a slot for this weekend via Doctolib, know that a second vaccination operation is organized in the lair of OL on April 17 and 18.
