Fukuoka Prefecture announced on the 5th that it was confirmed that 14 new people were infected with the new coronavirus in the prefecture.
The breakdown is 8 people in Fukuoka City and 2 people each in Kitakyushu City and Kurume City.
A total of 19,160 people have been confirmed to be infected in Fukuoka Prefecture.
Fukuoka Prefecture also announced that it was confirmed that one new person in the prefecture was infected with the first mutated coronavirus found in the United Kingdom.
A total of eight people have been confirmed to be infected with the mutant virus in Fukuoka Prefecture.
