At noon on April 4, a reporter from China News Agency drove to the scene of a major traffic accident on the G15 Shenhai Expressway.
At the scene, the reporter saw that two wreckers were still being cleaned up, and the two-way traffic on the road had basically resumed smoothly.
The central isolation of the road where the accident occurred has a fracture of nearly 20 meters. On the opposite side of the road, there is a sign 1 km away from the Shenhai Expressway Xiangshui service area.
At about 0:51 that day, a road traffic accident occurred on the G15 Shenhai Expressway at 898km from south to north.
A heavy-duty container semi-trailer broke through the central isolation belt of the road and hit a large ordinary passenger car traveling in the opposite direction. After that, two heavy-duty semi-trailer tractors behind the bus could not make way for a rear-end collision.
The accident has caused 11 deaths and 19 injuries. The injured have been sent to hospital for treatment. The cause of the accident is under investigation.
