On Sunday night, police forces broke up an “illegal” party in the Berlin district of Lichtenberg.

According to the police, the officers were made aware of the event through an anonymous phone call.

On site, 47 people from different households were found who celebrated together in an apartment building, disregarding the applicable corona protective measures.

Some of them were reportedly hiding behind a hidden door when the police wanted to take the personal details of the participants in the party.

They did not wear any mouth and nose covers and did not comply with any distance rules.

The police found violations of the Infection Protection Measures Ordinance in each of them.

There was an illegal birthday party with 40 people in the middle of the pandemic in Cologne.

The public order office had received the notice of a 60th birthday in the Ehrenfeld district, as a spokeswoman for the city of Cologne announced.
