A facility where the work place of Monkey Punch, a manga artist who died, known for his works such as "Lupin III", and related items was exhibited, opened in Hamanaka Town, Hokkaido, where he was born.

To commemorate the opening, Mayor Hiroshi Matsumoto of Hamanaka Town and Kanichi Kurita, who is the voice actor of Lupine III in the anime, cut the tape on the 4th.



One of the highlights of the exhibition space is the work place that was reproduced by moving the desk etc. from the work place that Monkey Punch actually used.



In addition, more than 100 items related to life-sized figures and painting materials of Lupine III and Daisuke Jigen, as well as many original drawings, are exhibited so that you can follow the production process of the work.

Lupine's voice actor, Kanichi Kurita, said, "I'm glad that this facility has opened. I want everyone to come and see me."



Located on the 2nd floor of the Hamanaka Town General Cultural Center, this facility is open from 9 am to 3 pm every day except Mondays, and admission is free.
