According to the Ministry of Defense, from the 3rd to the 4th, the Chinese Navy's aircraft carrier Liaoning, along with five other ships, passed through the waters between the main island of Okinawa and Miyakojima, and left the East China Sea into the Pacific Ocean. There was no invasion of Japan's territorial waters, and no arrival or departure of carrier-based aircraft from aircraft carriers was confirmed.



This is the sixth time that a Chinese aircraft carrier has been confirmed to have passed through this area since April last year.



Among the five vessels sailing with the aircraft carrier are the state-of-the-art Renhai-class guided-missile destroyer, which was first confirmed to sail in the waters around Japan last month, and a supply ship capable of providing fuel, the Ministry of Defense.
