The book has just received the 5th Castel Prize for the novel of the night.

A book that takes the reader on a nocturnal and poetic stroll through the streets of Paris, guided by a curious character strangely familiar, like "voodoo priest who spills rum on the ground to open a path".

Laurent Gaudé

, between the shadows of his intimate life, those of his tutelary figures still so alive, and the marks of a past which remains present, in his life and in ours, publishes "Paris Mille Vies" with the éditions Actes Sud.
