70,000 people had said they were interested in the "La Boum" festival which was to bring together a hundred DJs including Flume, Calvin Harris and the French DJ Snake, on April 1, 2021, in the Bois de la Cambre in the south of Brussels, the capital of Belgium.

Obviously, this event was a “fake festival” in the guise of April Fools that the organizers quickly denounced in a press release.

However, well aware of the hoax, between 1,500 and 2,000 people gathered in the park for a party despite the ban by authorities due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Started in a good atmosphere, the day ended with clashes between revelers and the police who used water cannons to disperse the crowd, after several charges from the mounted police.
