On April 1, a ninety-year-old couple in Lishui came to the Vientiane Mountain Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery in the rain to make a sacrifice. This was their 28th consecutive year.
It is understood that the old couple are 97-year-old Lei Xinrong and 87-year-old Shen Cuizhu. Lei Xinrong has been in the army since the age of 16, and is a veritable veteran. The couple said that without the sacrifices of their ancestors, they would not be as good as they are now. This is also the reason why they sacrificed for many years.
