Hiroshima City announced that it has been confirmed that seven people in their teens to 90s are infected with the new coronavirus.
This brings the total number of confirmed infections in Hiroshima Prefecture to 5,179.
According to the city of Hiroshima, the number of newly infected people in the city per 100,000 people in the last week up to the day is now 5.7, and the city of Hiroshima is calling for thorough prevention of infection.
