In January, the news came that the long-established Glastonbury Festival, which annually attracts almost 200,000 visitors, is canceled.

But now the organizers are announcing that a similar festival will be held online for one day.

Live at Worthy Farm kicks off on May 22 and is held in the area where the festival usually takes place.

"Hope to bring a small part of the festival"

To support the Glastonbury Festival, artists such as Coldplay, Damon Albarn, Haim and Idles will play during a five-hour livestream that, according to the organizers, can be likened to an uninterrupted film production.

The organizers also promise a number of unannounced surprise appearances.

Glastonbury's organizer Emily Eavis writes in a press release that she hopes to be able to send a small part of the festival to people's homes.

Live at Worthy Farm will be held on May 22 and will be broadcast in Sweden at 20:00.
