On March 31, a wildfire broke out in Jiangjiawan, Longshu Town, Ludian County, Zhaotong City, Yunnan Province. The fire area was about 115 acres and the fire line exceeded three kilometers. The fire spread fiercely. The Zhaotong Detachment of the Armed Police Yunnan Corps immediately launched an emergency plan and dispatched 64 people. The officers and soldiers carried rescue materials and equipment, and rushed to the front line to carry out the rescue.
After the mission officers and soldiers arrived at the front line of the Jiangjiawan fire, after an on-site survey, the vegetation on the fire site was chestnut trees, small shrubs, weeds, etc. The weather on the fire site was high in temperature, wind and wind were chaotic, and the fire site was high and steep, with the maximum slope approaching 80 degrees. Smoke billowed and flames skyrocketed.
The officers and soldiers marched along the rugged and steep hillsides on foot. They set up isolation belts, covered soil and beat the cliffs to ignite fires. During the battle, many officers and soldiers were burnt on their faces and their clothes, hands and feet were cut.
After nearly 4 hours of fighting, the wildfire was successfully extinguished. A total of 550 meters of fire lines were extinguished, 8 fire extinguishing points were extinguished, and more than 110 fire points were handled.
