China held an event in Nanjing to commemorate human organ donors

On March 31, when the Ching Ming Festival is approaching, under the guidance of the Chinese Red Cross Society and the National Health Commission, and hosted by the China Human Organ Donation Management Center, "The Movement of Life-2021 National Human Organ Donation Memorial Memorial and Publicity The popularization activity was held at the Memorial Forest for Organ Donors in Nanjing.

So far, the cumulative number of registered volunteers for organ donation in the country has exceeded 3.15 million. After the death of citizens, more than 33,000 organ donations have been completed, and more than 99,000 organs have been donated, successfully saving the lives of nearly 100,000 patients with organ failure.

There are 147 memorial places for donors of dead bodies and human organs throughout the country. Every year during the Ching Ming Festival, various Red Cross societies organize various memorial activities.
