I read the news on the RT website that Russia and Austria are at the final stage of negotiations before Vienna's acquisition of the Russian Sputnik V vaccine.

Even earlier, our vaccine became available to the residents of Hungary and Slovakia, they really want to see it in Italy, tortured by covid and Germany, tortured by Angela Merkel.

Only Mr. Macron continues to make a face, telling his citizens that "we are all ourselves."

Citizens who are no less tired of lockdowns and related restrictions.

I'll be back last October, when Margarita Simonyan persuaded me to get vaccinated so as not to accidentally be on mechanical ventilation under general anesthesia and not to tempt fate and the skill of our doctors, already tired of working in the "red zones".

Of course, many of my comrades rolled their eyes and said that I was crazy.

“You are not aware of the consequences!

Only volunteers were vaccinated, what if you die from this not really studied vaccine ?! "

The funny thing is that there are enough critics of my decision even now.

As you know, there are people who are afraid of everything that they do not understand, and they, as a rule, understand only the nuances of foreign policy.

To all these people who threatened me with old and new, still unknown diseases, I will say this: “Dear friends!

I don't know a single person who got worse from one of the Russian vaccines.

Side effects did not knock anyone in my (very wide) environment, no one went blind and covered with a green rash.

On the contrary: they returned to active life with the confidence that the consequences of the pandemic were over for them.

They travel more freely for work, are not afraid to sit in meetings and know that they are not a threat to their loved ones. "

And, unfortunately, I have acquaintances who got on the ventilator.

As there are those who have died from covid or complications caused by this disease.

Real losses against superstitions - is it necessary to weigh what is more important here?

To treat in the XXI century with confidence in modern pharmacology, for which thousands of bright minds of our country work, or to hope at random?

Such a "fork" even sounds ridiculous.

And asking what is more important - perhaps or homeopathy, is even funnier.

Well, EU politicians are ready to rely on chance, so long as Sputnik V does not end up in clinics and hospitals in European countries.

They are still waiting for AstraZeneca to start a) to behave in good faith (they did not disclose all the information about the trials to the Americans), b) convince the Europeans themselves that severe side effects are not related to the drug, and c) will finally produce a sufficient amount of the drug ...

Therefore, I am not surprised that EU politicians stopped waiting for endless supranational agreements and started buying Sputnik V.

Sometimes - at the cost of political crises.

History will still judge those who cared about people, and those who carried opportunistic nonsense.

The only pity is that it will no longer be possible to return the victims of this irresponsibility.
