He sent threatening text messages to other victims and made a lot of money... Recently, Shanghai The Cao Xing police station of the Minhang Public Security Branch of the Public Security Bureau discovered that a man in the district was involved in the criminal activity of "naked chat and blackmail".

The police quickly launched an investigation and arrested the suspect Cao on March 2 this year.

Surprisingly, the police discovered during the investigation that Cao himself was also a victim of "naked chat blackmail."

From the victim to the perpetrator, what did Cao go through?

On February 14, 2021, a "beauty" added a friend of Cao via QQ. After some exchanges, Cao downloaded a software and started a passionate and naked chat with the "beauty".

What made Cao dumbfounded was that afterwards, the other party sent his nude chat screenshots, high-definition avatars and address book information, and threatened Cao to pay 3,000 yuan, otherwise he would send Cao's nude photos to his address book friends.

Cao, who is not wealthy, immediately showed his Alipay and WeChat balance to the other party, indicating that he has no money.

Unexpectedly, "beauty" proposed "repaying debts with labor" and asked Cao to join the "her" team to forward the edited threatening text messages and photos. Each message sent was a 5 yuan benefit fee.

Cao agreed.

In the next two weeks, Cao sent a total of nearly 2,000 extortion text messages, making a total of nearly 8,000 yuan in profits.

Not only that, Cao, who discovered the way to make money, developed two friends offline and helped him send threatening text messages together.

At present, Cao has been criminally detained by Minhang police in accordance with the law on suspicion of racketeering.
