The two sons of the deceased were hospitalized with injuries and are currently in stable condition.

The initial investigation by the police suspected that the incident was caused by the computer network company run by the male deceased in financial difficulties for nearly half a year, and the initiation of murder.

  When the police met with reporters that day, the police said that the police received a report from the head of the household after 8:30 in the morning and found that the 48-year-old female head of the household was seriously injured and lying in the bedroom covered with blood; the 49-year-old male head of the household locked the kitchen and the police broke the door and found him. The two were in a coma and were sent to Queen Elizabeth Hospital for treatment, and were certified dead at 9:11 am and 9:16 am respectively.

A 14-year-old boy and an 18-year-old man in the unit were also injured and consciously sent to Queen Elizabeth Hospital for treatment.

In addition, a dog's corpse was found in the living room, and the corpse was handled by the relevant department.

  Initial investigation by the police found that the male head of household attacked the other with a knife while the female head of household was asleep, and then entangled with the eldest son, and then locked the kitchen. The eldest son was injured on his chest and hands, and the younger son had stab wounds on the chin and back of the neck. The dog was also attacked and died.

The police seized three ceramic knives with a total length of approximately 30 cm each at the scene, suspected to be related to the case.

  The police said that the two deceased had been married for 25 years and had no history of domestic violence, and their neighbors also said that they had not heard of a dispute.

It is understood that the male head of the household runs a computer network company, and has encountered difficulties in operating and economic turnover in the past six months. There is no suicide note on the scene. It is suspected that the case is related to the financial and business difficulties of the male head of household.

  The police will arrange an autopsy later to determine the cause of their death.

Currently, the District Crime Squad of Kowloon City Police is actively investigating the case.
