In the bear house of the Hongshan Forest Zoo in Nanjing, there is a veteran "animal predecessor"-the Malay bear.

The old fans of the zoo affectionately call it "Lao Ma".

The Malay bear was born in 1989 and is 32 years old this year, equivalent to about 90 years old for a human.

On March 30, it took small steps and followed the breeder to the outdoors, bathing in the spring breeze, basking in the sun, and enjoying the good scenery in spring.

According to the breeder, the zoo moved from Xuanwu Lake to Hongshan in 1998. At that time, this Malay bear moved to a new house with other animal friends and became the first "guests" to settle in the Hongshan Forest Zoo in Nanjing.

Nowadays, the eyesight of this bear is not very good, so he moves slowly and carefully. Outdoors, he is personally protected by a breeder and accompanied by the elderly bear.

In the eyes of the breeder, this Malay bear is very gentle, perhaps because of rich experience, boldness and calmness.
