Let's talk about it is the name of the program that is intended to be broadcast weekly on SD's youtube channel Riks.

With English-language broadcasts, they hope to be able to spread their image of Sweden abroad.

- My experience is that the interest in Sweden and Swedish politics is great, regardless of which part of the political spectrum you come from.

We were once a secure nation in the Nordic countries but have become something completely different.

There is interest in talking about it internationally, says Joakim Wallerstein, communications manager at the Sweden Democrats.

"News angled from SD perspective"

The host will initially be Eva Vlaardingerbroek, who until last year was active in the Dutch National Conservative Party FVD.

After revelations about anti-Semitism and racism in the party, she was one of several party leaders who left the party.

- By describing problems in Sweden and raising them abroad, you want to get pressure from foreign voters that things are not right.

Then it can also be easier for Swedish voters to vote for the Sweden Democrats, says Pontus Mattsson, domestic policy reporter at SVT who wrote two books about the Sweden Democrats.

- This is news that is angled from a Sweden Democratic perspective and the party's view of life, says Pontus Mattsson.

- I would say that this is an example of opinion journalism.

It is separate from news journalism, which must provide information in an objective way.

Opinion journalism is about highlighting and promoting an interest, says Nicklas Håkansson, associate professor of media and communication science.
