A record and a musical poetry show

The two artists met a year ago.

“Daniel Auteuil was setting poems by different authors to music, including one in particular called Paul-Jean Toulet,” recalls Gaëtan Roussel.

"He asked me if I would help him arrange them into songs for his show, and then we recorded them."

The musical show in question by Daniel Auteuil is called

Déjeuner en l'air

.

The performances, which were to begin in the fall of 2020, have been postponed because of the Covid-19.

But the project was not abandoned so far.

"It's in the drawers. The record will undoubtedly be released at the end of August," promises Gaëtan Roussel.

"And the tour will take place as soon as we can get back on the road."

The singer, who has a taste for collective work, has also invited Camélia Jordana and Alain Souchon on his new album, with whom they respectively sing the titles
