Nippon Maru, operated by a domestic shipping company, called at Aburatsu Port in Nichinan City, Miyazaki Prefecture on the 30th.

The "Nippon Maru" is a cruise ship with a total length of 166 meters, a total ton of more than 22,400 tons, and a capacity of 400 passengers.

This time, we carried about 300 passengers and left Kobe Port at noon on the 29th, and then arrived at Aburatsu Port at 9 am on the 30th.

This is the first cruise ship to call at Nichinan City since "Asuka 2" in November last year.

At the port, Nichinan City's tourist image character, "Nichinanja-sama," was greeted.

All passengers are Japanese, and all of them have completed the PCR test before boarding.

After disinfecting their hands and measuring the temperature, the passengers who disembarked boarded a sightseeing bus and headed for sightseeing spots such as Ashihi Castle Town and Udo Shrine in Nichinan City.

Of these, the passengers who visited Obi enjoyed the Edo-style townscape by strolling around Obi Castle Obi Gate, where the cherry blossoms are in full bloom.

A man from Kobe said with a smile, "I felt it was a good city because it was called Little Kyoto in Kyushu."

"Nippon Maru" will leave Aburatsu Port on the evening of the 30th and will return to Kobe on the 31st.
