Deng hadn't done it as required, so he gave him a few temporary license plates with his personal information and vehicle information, so that he could use it on the road first.
Deng confessed that he would provide the vehicle invoices, purchase tax and other vouchers of customers in need to the upper house, purchase temporary license plates at a price of 400 yuan, and then sell them to customers at a price ranging from 400 yuan to 500 yuan. According to Deng's account, the investigators followed the vine and found the first one to go online-Chen.
After investigation, Chen started in November 2018 and bought fake Xiangtan motor vehicle temporary driving license plates at a price of 210 yuan or 220 yuan per set from his online Yang, and then at 350 yuan or 380 yuan per set. The price of the set was sold to himself offline, and the fake temporary license plate used by the car owner Tan was from Chen.
According to Chen's account, the investigators quickly found Yang.
He used the identity of working in the Auto City to sell fake temporary license plates to many "offline" through online channels, ranging from 200 yuan to 300 yuan per set, and sold a total of 558 sets.
Yang’s wife Jiang knew that Yang had traded forged temporary driving license plates, but still gave Yang his WeChat payment code and transferred the illegal income received every day to Yang.
Through Yang's confession, Li and Yin, who were hidden behind him, were captured by the public security organs.
In August 2018, Li came to the house of Yin, who had worked in an advertising company, and brought a "template" of motor vehicle temporary license plates. The two hit it off and decided to make money by manufacturing and selling fake temporary license plates. Yin used his home computer and printer to forge a temporary license, and Li used the forged official seal of the traffic police department to sell it.
The cost for Yin to make fake motor vehicle temporary license plates is 5 yuan, and he sells it to Li at 30 yuan per set, and Li sells it to Yang at 90 yuan per set.
Gray areas in vehicle sales
The investigators found that in the Auto City, salespersons engaged in sales related to automobile business used professional convenience to obtain customer identities and vehicle information through various channels, and provided them to the "shangjia" for making counterfeit temporary motor vehicles. License plates, and then sell the finished products to scalpers and individual customers for profit. This phenomenon is very common.
For example, in this case, Dong Mou, a criminal suspect in the sale of second-hand cars, believes that it is troublesome to apply for a temporary license plate at the traffic police team, and customers have to go to the road to test the car during the second-hand car transaction.
Therefore, with a fluke, Dong bought a total of 147 sets of fake temporary license plates for motor vehicles at a price of 200 yuan each, and traded them at the same time when buying and selling second-hand cars.
