The exercise simulated a magnitude 7 earthquake in Weining County, Bijie City, Guizhou Province. Because the roads in the "disaster area" were damaged by the earthquake and vehicles could not reach the epicenter, the nearby Bijie detachment reached the "disaster area" on foot.
During the hike, firefighters need to transport personal equipment and rescue equipment to the "disaster area."
