The Egyptian judiciary returns Emad El Din Adeeb to membership in the Syndicate of Journalists

Today, the Egyptian Administrative Court ruled accepting the lawsuit filed by the journalist Emad El Din Adeeb regarding a decision to cancel him from the Syndicate of Journalists in the form, and the court decided to suspend the implementation of the contested decision, with the consequences of that, and obligated the defendant to pay the expense of the urgent part, and ordered By referring the case to the State Commissioners Authority to prepare a legal opinion report on the cancellation and compensation requests.



According to what was published by the Egyptian website Al-Youm Al-Sabea, the court found that the plaintiff was bound by the Syndicate of Journalists, and the contested decision was issued in accordance with the report of the Journalists Syndicate defense memorandum, based on the decision of the Primary Disciplinary Authority issued in 2020 in Case No. 9 of 2019, which includes its dismissal from The Journalists Syndicate tables, and the Journalists Syndicate stated that the reason for issuing the decision to delete Adeeb is the issuance of the primary disciplinary authority decision, according to the aforementioned.

The decision of the Disciplinary Authority of the Egyptian Journalists Syndicate had decided to remove a writer from all the Syndicate's schedules and to demand the Supreme Council for Media Regulation, the National Press Authority, Al-Ahram Foundation, Al-Watan Newspaper and Al-Fursan Magazine, to notify all national, partisan and private newspapers to prevent him from practicing the profession fully with the consequences thereof. .
