With this new arrival, the objective of having 30 million French people vaccinated by the end of June is "confirmed".

The Minister for Industry, Agnès Pannier-Runacher, indicated this Saturday on Europe 1 that new deliveries of vaccines against Covid-19 were expected next week in France.

"Nearly 3 million doses will arrive, confirmed by the various laboratories," she said.

Deliveries are "between 2.5 million and 3 million doses, with a gradual rise to nearly 4 million at the end of April, beginning of May", she said.

Pfizer "at the rendezvous"

Agnès Pannier-Runacher explained that most of the deliveries were based on the contribution of the BioNTech-Pfizer vaccine, with "nearly 2 million doses from the week of April 5".

"They have always been there," she said.

"Moderna (...) has always caught up with its deliveries" and "Janssen (Johnson and Johnson) has also confirmed the start of its deliveries", she added, saying she was "confident".

Regarding AstraZeneca, the Minister indicated that the EU had "secured the doses, with the blocking of doses in Italy".

“We now have a pool of 29 million doses.

There were 16 that were intended (for the) European market, ”she continued.

“On the remaining doses, we are in discussion.

The advantage is that we now have our hands (above), ”added the Minister.
